Oct. 29th News - Numbers continue to increase

Attendance is up! Through the first 9 weeks of the semester overall attendance has increased 24.9%. That translates into an additional 150 students each week. The increase can be attributed to hard work and some new programs. The chinese ministry, Monday Lunches, and the cell groups are enabling more entry points for students to become involved. Programming is changing due to university scheduling. More classes are being held at night than in recent years. That means that there is no single night that all of our students can gather. Therefore more events must be held to reach students. It is also reflected in our lunch program that must be held over a two hour period, smorgasbord style, to allow a greater number of students to attend during that two hour window.

The bad news of increased growth is that it requires more funds and more staff hours to accomodate a growing program.
